Cormint Data Systems, Inc. is delighted to announce the strengthening of our Corporate Governance with the appointment of Savas Karas as a non-Executive Director.

Background & Experience

Savas brings 25 years of experience in the information technology sector. He is currently Chief Technology Officer and the Chief Transformation Officer of CAPREIT, a national multi-family housing company. CAPREIT owns and operates more than 16,000 multi-family units across the United States.

Savas holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration, and Management Information Systems from Loyola University Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Global Managerial Accountant (CGMA), and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt (SSMB). Savas has extensive Board experience spanning for-profit and non-profit Boards.

Strategic Impact

After its successful Series A and ongoing success of its Bitcoin Denominated Venture Debt Offering, Cormint has now fully funded its expansion plan to at least 2.4 EH/s of self mining at its Fort Stockton, Texas site by Q3 2024.
